Prayer
Points
- Let us
thank the Lord for His selfless, sacrificial and unconditional love for
us; thank Him for His redemptive power which neither fails nor diminishes.
- Let us thank the Lord for our families; thank Him for this great opportunity to pray for our families on this platform.
- Let my family be consumed by Your
great love; be the solid rock upon which my family stands.
- Father,
please grant me the grace to hold on to You till the very end; to hold on
earnestly to this truth I have heard and received (Hebrews 2:1-3). Help me
not to neglect this great Gospel You have freely given to us; help me not
to drift away; give me focus and take away any form of distraction.
- Help me
Father, to truly be a faithful follower of Christ and be ready to obey His
commandments/instructions without questions.
- Please
Lord, run the affairs of my life/family/home so that I will not mess
things up.
- Let my
life truly be a reflection of You (Christ); give me the grace to totally
surrender myself to You so that I can be used by You in Your own
way.
- Lord,
please show me mercy.
- Let
Your word be sharp in my mouth so that I can lead these ones (my family
members both nuclear and extended) you have given me, to Christ (to You).

Christian Home
O give us homes built firm upon the Saviour,
Where Christ is Head, and Counsellor and Guide;
Where ev'ry child is taught His love and favor
And gives his heart to Christ, the crucified:
How sweet to know that tho' his footsteps waver
His faithful Lord is walking by his side!
O give us homes with godly fathers, mothers,
Who always place their hope and trust in Him;
Whose tender patience turmoil never bothers,
Whose calm and courage trouble cannot dim;
A home where each finds joy in serving others,
And love still shines, though days be dark and
grim.
O give us homes where Christ is Lord and Master,
The Bible read, the precious hymns still sung;
Where prayer comes first in peace or in
disaster,
And praise is natural speech to ev'ry tongue;
Where mountains move before a faith that's
vaster,
And Christ sufficient is for old and young.
O Lord, our God, our homes are Thine forever!
We trust to Thee their problems, toil, and care;
Their bonds of love no enemy can sever
If Thou art always Lord and Master there:
Be Thou the center of our least endeavor:
Be Thou our Guest, our hearts and homes to
share.
- Family: (spouses, parents, children, brothers, sisters and relatives etc). Let us present the list of our family members before the Lord. Dear Lord, please show them mercy and establish them in Your truth.
- Pray for the sick among us.
