3:15
“And I will put enmity (open hostility) Between you and the woman,
And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.”

·
Every woman has a role to play in enforcing the will of God over
the serpent (Satan).
·
There is a seed inside our lives as women that is meant to deal
with the devil and secure victory for mankind from generation to generation.
·
The seed of the woman has also been charged with the
responsibility of bruising the head of the serpent.
·
Bringing forth of a seed that will bruise the head of the serpent
in this world is a divine mandate on the life of every godly woman. It is a
“pound” that you must “trade with” and make profit for the kingdom of God.
·
Every woman who has been redeemed
by the Lord Jesus Christ and has surrendered
her life to Him has that seed that can bruise the head of the serpent. The
seed is to enforce and perpetuate that victory in every generation.(I note here
the two way process, it is not enough to be redeemed, I must also surrender my
life).
·
This is double equipping for the woman for spiritual warfare
because such a woman will not only be an enemy of the serpent but her seed also
shall bruise the head of the serpent.
PRAYER
·
Thank You that even before the foundation of the earth, you had a
grand plan for me, my home and my seed.
·
Thank You Lord for opening our eyes to this eternal truth.
·
Father, do not let me fail You in this divine assignment in Jesus
name
·
Equip me first for this battle of bruising the serpent’s head
regardless of the cloak he/she is putting on. It could be a cloak of a
minister, teacher, leader, University lecturer, boss at work friend ….the list
is endless.
·
My seed will not fail; they also must bruise the head of the
serpent.
·
May I not live and die without fulfilling the desire of God upon
the serpent and his seed. (Note he also has seed and his seed is scattered
amongst human race where our own seed dwell).
·
May heaven not grieve over my life and that of my family
Vessels
to fulfil the Mandate
God is always looking for a man/woman to carry out His purpose on
the face of the earth Ezekiel 22:30
It is only a woman who has become an enemy of the devil and his
works, that can bring forth a seed
capable of bruising the head of the serpent.
Who must I/you/we be to fulfill this mandate?
1 John
3:9
“No one who is
born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God’s seed [His principle of life, the
essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born
again—who is reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart
for His purpose]; and he [who is born again] cannot habitually [live a life characterized by] sin,
because he is born of God and longs to please Him.”
·
I must hate sin and must not continue to sin.
·
In Isaiah 7:14, Bible says “behold a virgin shall
conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel”. Mary’s name was not
mentioned there but she lived her life in such a manner that fit into God’s
purpose. She was a virgin physically and spiritually by cleaving to the Lord
and serving Him only.
·
She was empty, waiting for the Lord to fill her.
·
She did not allow anyone to “deposit” anything in
her life.
·
I must fear the Lord.
·
Obey every commandments of the Lord, not the one
that suits me
·
I must position myself where God can find me,
must not be a flighty man/woman with no purpose.
PRAYER
·
Father, empty my life of whatever is not of you.
·
Let my seed, my husband, everyone that is
attached to me, everyone in my circle of influence; let us overcome the world
because we are born of you. 1John 5:4
·
Empty our husbands, our children of whatever
belongs to the world that has filled them, that will not allow Your word in
them.
·
Lord, give me a compassionate heart in dealing
with issues in my home.
·
Equip me to save them, pull them out of fire.
·
Grant us the grace to hate the garment defiled by
the flesh Jude 1:23
·
Father your grace that found us and brought us
into this new life will bring our children in too.
·
Lord we take authority in Jesus name over
everything our children are contending with.
Our Weapon - Holy Spirit, The Word and Prayer
Joel 2:28
“It shall come
about after this That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons
and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young
men will see visions.”
Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power and ability
when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people
about Me] both in
Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”
2Corin
10:4-6
“The weapons of our warfare are not physical
[weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the
destruction of fortresses. We
are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud
thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we
are taking every thought and purpose
captive to the obedience of Christ, being
ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a
church] is complete.”
Acts 2:1-47
When the Holy Spirit comes upon a life or any
situation, He brings:

Confidence to preach full gospel not
fragmented, vs 14
·
Radical followership.
·
Abandonment.
·
Boldness , Vibrant prayer life.
·
Genuine salvation and conviction vs 37, 41
·
Persecution which leads to growth.
·
Simplicity of heart.
·
Miracle (lame man at the Beautiful gate) Acts 3:1-8
Natural
man, flesh cannot please God or understand the things of God whether adult or
teenager or young adult or child.
PRAYER
·
Destroy
every natural ability in my children, my home and all that concerns me.
·
Let
our obedience be complete so that we can boldly punish every act of disobedience.
·
Jesus
said it is finished. Let it be finished in our homes, our children’s lives, our husbands, wives etc
·
Destroy
all the residue of the old man and his sinful habits Lord in our lives.
·
Father,
by the power in the name of Jesus, by the power in the blood of Jesus, the finished work of Calvary, I destroy every sophisticated arguments, everything
that exalts itself above your name, above the true knowledge of God in my home,
in the life of my children and every Christian home in Jesus name.
·
Lord
we know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities
·
Father
tonight we rend our hearts not our garments, help us to return to you, for you
are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love Joel 2:13
·
Thank
You because you are eager to relent and not punish (bring calamity) Joel 2:13.
Finally, Lord how do we go from here?
Thank You for grace you have bestowed upon us
all .. 2 Peter 3:14-18, Titus 2:11-14
